Our History

In March of 2001 the Lord commissioned Dr. A. O. Itiola to start Fresh Anointing International Church in Brooklyn, New York. No one expected that a church with such a humble beginning would grow as large as it has within such a short period of time. FAIC now has branches in over a dozen American cities and over fifty congregations in five other countries. Plans are under way to open up more churches in the United States and other parts of the world.

In 2004 Bishop. Olu Itiola ordained and commissioned Pastor Olusegun Adebo to established the New Jersey branch. Our church is located in the center of Newark downtown on 23-25 Washington Street, opposite Washington Park between Newark Museum and Newark Public Library.

Our Overseer

Dr A. O. Itiola founded Fresh Anointing International Church in March, 2001. Under his able leadership, the church has grown to over sixty congregations in six different countries. Before his call into the ministry, he worked as a bank officer in one of the leading banks in Nigeria, Africa. In 1982 he was called by God into full time ministry and has labored tirelessly in Gods vineyard ever since. He holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from the highly acclaimed Grace Theological Seminary, Winona Lake, Indiana. He also earned a Doctor of Theology degree from Gulf Coast Seminary, Panama City, Florida.

He has ministered extensively on Radio, Television and in conferences, seminars and workshops all over the United States, Canada, Africa, Europe and Asia. He is the author of more than a dozen books including The Sermon Proof Christian, Witchcraft in the church, Night Time Warfare and What Goes Around Comes Around. He presently pastors the New York assembly from where he oversees FAIC churches in USA and abroad.

Our Beliefs

Fresh Anointing International has a fundamental 22 belief system:
The Holy Bible: II Timothy 3:16-17; Revelations 22:18-19 The Holy Bible is the inspired word of God and is the final authority in all matters concerning Christian conduct.
The Godhead: Matthew 3:16-17; II Corinthians 13:14 The Godhead consists of three separate, distinct and recognizable personalities, the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, united in one.
The virgin birth: Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25 The virgin birth brought forth Jesus, the only begotten Son of God. He was crucified, He died, and He arose to ascend into heaven.
Total Depravity: Psalms 51: 5; Romans 3:23 Total Depravity is the condition of all individuals since the fall and all were subject to Gods wrath and condemnation.
Repentance: Proverbs 28:13; Isaiah 55:7 Repentance is the complete turning away from sins, which is required of every sinner who desires to embrace the new birth.
Restitution: Genesis 20:1-8; Luke 19:8-9 Restitution is making amends for wrongs done against others, so as to have a conscience void of offense towards God and man.
Justification: Isaiah 1:18; Galatians 2:16 Justification is the act of Gods grace, whereby one receives forgiveness and remission of sins.
Water Baptism: Mark 16:16; Matthew 3:13-17 Water Baptism is the act of one immersion in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost and it is essential after reconciliation with God.
The Lords Supper: Corinthians 11:23-30; Luke 21:17-20 The Lords Supper was instituted by Jesus Christ, so that believers might partake to “shew the Lords death till He come”.
Sanctification: I Thessalonians 5:22-24; I Thessalonians 4:3 Sanctification is a definite act of Gods grace, whereby a believer’s heart is purified and made holy.
The Holy Ghost Baptism: I Corinthians 12:1-31; Acts 2:1-18 The Holy Ghost Baptism is the endowment of Gods power and is the promise of the Father. The initial evidence of speaking in tongues accompanies this gift.
Redemption: Galatians 3:13; John 14:12-14 Redemption from the curse of the law is available to all people through the sanctified death of Jesus Christ.
Personal Evangelism: Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15 Personal Evangelism is a God-given and God-ordained ministry of every believer.
Marriage: Matthew 19:3-9; Ephesians 5:31; Matthew 5:31-32 Marriage is the perfect will and institution of God. It is binding for life, which must not be broken except one spouse, should pass away.
Rapture: I Corinthians 15:51-58; Luke 21:33-36 Rapture is the catching away from the earth of all living saints and all who died in the Lord. The Rapture will take place before The Tribulation and it can happen at any moment.
Resurrection: Job 19:25-27; Daniel 12:2 Resurrection is inevitable to all who have ever lived. Some will resurrect to honor and glory and others to everlasting shame and contempt.
The Great Tribulation: Mark 13:19; Matthew 24:21-22 The Great Tribulation will occur after The Rapture. It is a time of great suffering on the earth when the Antichrist will take possession of the world for a reign of terror.
The Second Coming of Christ: Matthew 25:31-46; II Thessalonians 1:7-10 The Second Coming of Christ will be as literal and visible as His going away. He will descend to execute judgment upon the ungodly.
The Millennial Reign: Jude 14, 15; Revelations 20:4-6 The Millennial Reign is 1,000 years literal of Jesus on the earth. At this time, He will judge the nations that dwell on earth.
The Great White Throne Judgment: Romans 2:15-16; Revelations 20:11-15 The Great White Throne Judgment is Gods final judgment of all the living and the dead. All souls will stand before their maker to give account of their lives.
A New Heaven and Earth: Revelations 21:1-7; Isaiah 51:6 A New Heaven and Earth will made by God and the redeemed shall dwell with God forever.
Hell Fire: Luke 12:4-5; Revelations 14:10,11 Hell Fire is a place of everlasting punishment reserved for Satan, his angels and all individuals whose names are not found in The Book of Life.
